DIRECTOR - STEVE DAVIES

Hi, I’m Steve Davies, and music has been the heartbeat of my life for as long as I can remember. It has the power to uplift, heal, and bring joy, and I’m passionate about sharing that gift with others—especially with the next generation of musicians.

With over 30 years of experience in music education, I’ve had the privilege of teaching piano, guitar, drums, and singing in schools and private settings. I hold a Diploma in Piano, a Qualified Childcare Diploma, and a Business Administration Diploma, and I’m currently pursuing my A.Mus.A in Piano to further deepen my craft.

I’ve also worked as a childcare educator for over 10 years, and I bring that understanding of child development into every lesson. My goal is to make learning music not just educational, but deeply enjoyable and personal.

In 2010, I founded Davies Music School after receiving many inquiries from families asking if I taught other instruments—or if I could recommend quality teachers. What started as a few lessons has now grown into something truly special.

We’re excited for what’s to come. In 2025, we’ll be launching our new location on Hogans Road, and we’re aiming to reach 400 active students across our programs. Whether you're a beginner or returning to music after years away, there’s a place for you here.

ABOUT US

We are a family-run music school with a
heart for community. Our mission is simple: to create a safe, friendly, and
inclusive environment where every student feels seen, supported, and
inspired.

We warmly welcome families from all
backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. We are especially passionate about
supporting children and adults with additional needs, and we strive to make
everyone feel like they belong.

Since opening our doors in 2010, we’ve
grown into one of the leading music schools in the Wyndham area, with over
20 dedicated instructors and an incredible Admin Team. Our students
consistently achieve strong results in AMEB and ANZCA music exams—but exams are
just one path. For us, the joy of music is what matters most.
